It's my first year of "Life Basics and Other Stuff You Don't Need". It's the end of the semester which means a lot of studying, which really isn't that bad now-a-days. My inner alarm goes off(you set a time in your head and you wake up at that certain time feeling awake) and I roll out of bed. First thing I do is log onto the "network", I pick my watch off the table and press a button and pops up a hologram listing everything that's going on today, what I have to do, the weather, and what my friends are doing. I run my finger down through the hologram and it scrolls. Nothing too important, just finals. I get dressed and pick a certain shirt with my favorite scrolling logo. It's a Skyrock shirt, my new favorite band, and it has a moving picture of them singing on the front. I walk downstairs, and command the food processor, "strawberry protein smoothie" and slip on my shoes. With a ding and an "enjoy", I grab my smoothie and walk out the door and hop in my car. I tell it to head to school and off we go. I like to study on the way there, so I pop in my microchip. It goes on your eye like a contact and you can see everything. It's disorienting at first, but you get used to it. I type on the hologram keyboard only I can see to search for "Anatomy" and up pops my Anatomy book, I specify the endocrine system and the chapter comes up. I read that for a couple minutes and before I know it, the car pulls up to the school. I climb out and press a button on my keys and the car rolls away to park itself. I finally get in class and we get ready to take the final. The teacher passes out glass, which kind of looks like a piece a paper, but has a hologram on it. It has a program that randomizes the questions and can catch cheating within seconds. The kid next to me is a computer hacker and slips a code in without the teacher even knowing and manages to cheat on the whole thing. Well, just because technology has gotten more advanced, doesn't mean the kids have gotten any smarter.
